Meet Chad

Chad is a life-long Iron Ranger and has been working in the mental health field there for the past 20 years.  He holds a Ph.D. and Master's degree in the counseling field.  He is a licensed professional clinical counselor and a nationally certified counselor.  He also has been teaching with Bemidji State University's psychology department since 2006, and prior to that taught with Mesabi Range College.  He is the author of the book Criminalization of the Mentally Ill, and has frequently been a contributing columnist for the Mesabi Daily News and Hibbing Tribune.  He enjoys aviation, SCUBA diving, hiking, golf, and cheering on state and local sports teams.​  His areas of specialization include:
